Tokidoki started as the online portfolio of Italian artist Simone Legno. Tokidoki means "sometimes" in Japanese. Simone chose "sometimes" because everyone waits for moments that change one's destiny. In 2003, Simone received a very tokidoki email. The co-founder of Hard Candy Cosmetics had fallen in love with his website. Only hours after Simone landed in LA they made him an amazing offer: move to LA and build tokidoki into a brand to share with the world. Simone is now in LA living his dream of making the world a bit more colorful and positive through tokidoki.

Dreams do come true for some people...

His works manipulates transparency effects in order to the body vanishes and disappears.

Michael Phelps on cover of Dec 08 ESPN, designer Alberto Seveso:

Seveso is able to disassemble like a puzzle, make translucent like a silk scarf held up to the sun, or replace like a Mr. Potato Head, parts of the bodies that he works with as the basis for his designs. In addition, more than being creative in his choice of canvas, Alberto creates finely intricate designs that would be gorgeous on their own.

Strange thing. I visited one LJ today for one particular reason and I ended up reading that person's post about "Maurice" film. I've had that Merchant-Ivory DVD for years and I made a promise to myself to read E.M.Forster's novel, but I didn't do that. I totally forgot about it. Boo me.

It's a gay love story so if that puts you off, well...your loss. :)

I will also say that Hugh Grant is one of the most underrated actors that I know of. I think he's an awesome actor.
